Koi Auction Policy
By allowing us to bid or enter a lottery for your koi, you agreed and accepted the following terms.
Please read them carefully:
– When you provided us with your maximum bid amount, you agreed to pay for that amount in addition to shipping from Japan to the US. Shipping prices may vary, but you can expect between $450-850 per box. It is up to the breeder to choose how many koi to ship in a box.
– You also agreed to pay Kordori Japanese Koi 20% commission on top of your maximum bid amount. All fees, commission, and price of the koi must be paid within 3 days of ended auction.
– Koi are living animal; therefore, can change drastically at any time. If the breeder send us your koi and it had changed (i.e. color, pattern, body…) or look different than the auction’s photos/videos in any way, we will not be held responsible.
– We will quarantine the koi for 6 to 8 weeks at our bio-secured quarantine facility before shipping out. If the koi change (i.e. color, pattern, body…) during the quarantine process, we will not be held liable for it. In the rare event that the koi die while under quarantine, we will refund 100% of the koi wining price in store credit. Shipping, transportation and custom clearance fees are not refundable.
– Shipping from Japan can be very stressful to koi. Delays can occur. If the koi die during shipping from Japan, it will be up to the breeder’s discretion whether or not to compensate. If they chose to do nothing, you must agree to accept the breeder’s final resolution and not hold Kordori Japanese Koi liable.
– Due to breeder auction policy and customer privacy, we cannot show or disclose wining bid.
– A $1000 refundable deposit is required before any bids.
Thank you for your trust and happy bidding.
